I absolutely LOVE this photo! the detail on her spine and collar bone really allows you into her personal space... once you're in her space, you feel her raw emotion by capturing her body language with the perfect amount of light! Great job!!!

I really love all of your black and white photography! It is a delicate skill that can capture emotion without the benefit of facial expression. lighting and composition in this photo feels comfortable and inviting. the dark floor moves your eyes right up her body and places you like a weight right on her shoulders... having her pull her arms forward gives it the feeling of defeat, which for me, translates to pain.
