I will start by saying that this image caught my eye in the first page, which is a good thing - it means that it stands out among all other pieces.

Vision
As far as the vision is cocerned, I think that this photograph is very impressive. It manages to pass the emotion of pain very intensely to the viewer. All in all, it greatly represents its theme. Five stars.

Originality
Even though there have been similar photographs of curling figures, I feel like this one is very unique to its whole composition. It is strong - the pose of the model is very expressive, and this makes it stand out from all other similar photos.

Technique
The technique is amazing. The lighting is just as it should be, so that the right bones stand out, while parts like the woman’s face remain in the shadows. This makes it all the more expressive. The angle is good, exactly as it should be to highlight the most expressive parts (the spine, for instance). The model has done a wonderful job to display torment, shame, pain with body language.

Technique
Five stars. It touches the viewer’s soul by the first moment.

Overall: this is one of the best deviations I have ever seen. Amazing job, really. The texture works well, as does the black and white effect. Well done!

I absolutely LOVE this photo! the detail on her spine and collar bone really allows you into her personal space... once you're in her space, you feel her raw emotion by capturing her body language with the perfect amount of light! Great job!!!

I really love all of your black and white photography! It is a delicate skill that can capture emotion without the benefit of facial expression. lighting and composition in this photo feels comfortable and inviting. the dark floor moves your eyes right up her body and places you like a weight right on her shoulders... having her pull her arms forward gives it the feeling of defeat, which for me, translates to pain.
