Everything still looks really good and well preserved, and the furniture looks like antiques...why oh why let it all rot away for no reason???? Lovely shot.

I'm surprised these places aren't looted, I would be stealing things left and right :( but then maybe most people aren't as bad as I am...

The shadows are so clear and looks like computer-aided or something. When you said you did not do any manipulations it was aweful. This is truly a beautiful scene I have seen in a very long time. The camera details explains everything. Thanks a lot for sharing *schnotte :)

The room was completly dark so i enlightened it with a flashbulb. Thats why the shadows are so clear.

The view out the window looks so surreal, there must be some kind of steep hill right outside? Or is it a photo-manipulation?

Time marches on regardless of whether we are there to see it or not.

No, I didn't really, think you were into that. Weird that they put a window up against a hill like that. Course, I guess it makes as much sense as putting a window looking out on a brick wall. [link]

In case of this is an abandoned house for years it could be that the hill wasnt there when it was in use.

I imagine that would explain the brick wall too.
